Delay
Ein Delay-Effekt gibt ein Audiosignal nach einer bestimmten Zeit (wenige Millisekunden bis hin zu mehreren Sekunden) wieder. Wenn sich das Delay-Signal nicht kontinuierlich an das Spiel anpasst, sondern eine bestimmte Stelle ständig wiederholt, spricht man von einem Loop. Ein gutes Beispiel für den Einsatz eines Delay-Pedals ist die Leadgitarre in U2´s "Where the Streets Have No Name".
