Flattley Guitar Pedals - Poison Ivy (Octave Harmonic Fuzz)
The “Poison Ivy” octave harmonic fuzz pedal is modelled on a 60’s/early 70’s style Super Fuzz/Uni Fuzz but with some modern adjustments to improve the sound qualities. The poison ivy is based on germanium diodes to give that vintage era fuzz sound. The 2-position tone network switch offers a choice between the full signal and a scooped signal that is more gritty.
The expander control takes the fuzz sound from a wide fuzz sound to a completely over the top Velcro ripping tight fuzz sound, providing some great octave tones. There is no holding back with this fuzz pedal, it’s awesome and it’s almost like having two completely different fuzz pedals in one box.
The blue halo light ring installed diffuses the light when playing live, avoiding being blinded by the standard LEDs just as you are about to go into that all important solo thus giving a larger area to see where the pedal is located easily on the pedal board on darkened stages. The addition of the large aluminium foot topper gives you more real estate for contact when switching the pedal on and off during quick changes when playing live.
