Lastgasp Art Laboratories - Hypnospiral - LAYERED FLANGER HYS
The "Hypnospiral - LAYERED FLANGER" (HYS) is a unique analog flanging effect pedal that makes a sound created by mixing 3 identical flangers.
The three diverging flange signals each have their own varied delay times to create a thick, complex wall of vibrations.
Characterized by a warm and rich analog sound, using the BBD (Bucket-Brigade Device) chip.
In the top section, the DEPTH control regulates the depth of the modulation. SPEED controls the rate of the modulation; and the RANGE controls the three delay times. In the centre section is the DIRECT LEVEL, plus the three DELAY LEVELS (0.15 / 0.25 / 9.5ms). At the lower corner, the FEEDBACK knob controls the amount of feedback degrees.
The top side of the pedal has 3 jacks for EXP, OUTPUT, INPUT and an AC ADAPTER. For the exp pedal any 100k ohm expression pedal will work to control the SPEED (the "MOOG EP-3" is our recommendation).
The three DELAY LEVEL knobs and the FEEDBACK knob oscillate at various points when turned to the right. Since they are interrelated, the timing of oscillation will vary depending on the setting.
With the HYPNOSPIRAL layered flanger you can archive rich reverb and chorus type effects that limitless. In addition you can also use as a normal flanging effect.
