This pedal was originally designed for J.Mascis. He requested two Box of Rock™ pedals in one box with two stomp switches.

Two new features have been included in this second version of the Ground & Pound; the ground/ pound switch and an L-Pad attenuator.

This pedal is a modified version of our Box of Rock’s Distortron Engine. The improvements include a gain boost switch for added sizzle and a sub control switch with 3 levels.

A slew limiter smoothes out how quickly incoming voltage can change, limiting it to a fixed v/sec. slope. since time and frequency are intrinsically linked, this acts as a steep, somewhat distorted low pass filter.

The Valco KGB-DIST is a multi-function / tone-sculpting distortion machine, designed to work within a sound creation chain or as a regular standalone distortion pedal (and everything in between!).
