The new Nobels ODR-1X is the next generation of this now legendary overdrive, heralding a new chapter in the Nobels overdrive legacy. Due to popular demand, a convenient external bass cut pot has been added, as well as the option to change between true bypass or buffered bypass. For hi-gain aficionados, a new switchable hi-gain boost is also now available.

Just when you thought it couldn't get more evil... Adjust the cascading gain stages to get the classic black metal tone or crank them to get crazy high gain riffage.

This design started as a Rat style distortion but with the goal of more gain, loads more output, thick to tight low end, and of course it needed a clean blend for those of us who prefer that for gain stacking and the bassist out there. Drop the gain to zero, turn up the tight control, and use it as a boost or do just the opposite for massive doom.
